Adventurer Steve Fossett Missing

Steve Fossett,  millionaire entrepreneur who holds numerous aviation flight records, was last seen Monday at 8:45 a.m. local time at a ranch south of Smith Valley in western Nevada.  Fossett departed  Barron Hilton's Flying M Ranch, (a private airstrip) located about 100 kilometres southeast of Reno.  When he did not return at noon a search was started.

Cessna 441 Conquest – Life Limit

After extensive research Cessna has set a life limit of 22,500 flying hours for the Cessna 441 Conquest II.  A Supplemental Inspection Document has recommended a life limit for the aircraft and several aircraft have already been grounded.

Canadian Snowbirds - Initial Crash Findings

As simple as it may sound – the fact that Capt. Shawn McCaughey seat belt came undone while the team was practicing for an air show at Malmstrom Air Force Base near Great Falls, Montana is the most likely cause of the May 18th fatal crash.

Fatal Airshow Crash - Dayton, OH

A horrified crowd of air show spectators watched as veteran air show performer Jim LeRoy failed to pull out of a dive in time – his aerobatic aircraft pancaked into the ground and burst into flames. Pilot Jim LeRoy of Billings, Montana, died on the way to the hospital after his S2S Bulldog biplane crashed at the end of a runway at Dayton International Airport in Ohio.
