British Airways Boeing 777 lands short of runway 27L at London’s Heathrow International Airport.  The flight bound from Beijing, China touched down 300 meters short of the landing runway without any warning.  Fortunately, the aircraft skidded to a stop at the threshold of runway 27R.

All 136 passengers and crew escaped without injury.  An investigation is underway.
