Four hundred skydivers from over 31 countries established a new world record by hold hands in a mid-air free-fall formation.
"It was beautiful. It was one of my absolute favourite dives of my life," said World Team skydive director B.J. Worth. Video was confirmed by three judges on the ground that all 400 divers were linked together for more than four seconds. The previous record was 357 divers and it was established by the same group - World team. The 400 skydivers jumped from five C-130 Hercules stating at 7,315 meters. The group had failed to establish the record on three previous attempts on Monday and Tuesday. |
